Naught But Nice: Brewer's Dictionary of modern phrase and fable have an entry for 'Naught but nice'' in which various examples are given of its use, they go on to say that: 'the ultimate source is undoubtedly the fuller phrase found as the title song of 1873 by Arthur Lloyd.
