The Pavilion was built in 1926 and demolished in 1956.

This building was on a site opposite Manor Park. On the Main Aldershot / Guildford Road. It was never a theatre, although variety might have been staged there between films in the early years. It was the first Cinema in the area to present talking films. I knew it as a second release Odeon house. It closed during the late 1950s and became a potato warehouse and as since been demolished. In my day it was the local Scratcher.
