Regent Theatre of Varieties, Cross Lane, Salford

 

Click to EnlargeThis Theatre was built by the renowned Theatre Architect Frank Matcham and opened as the Regent Theatre and Opera House in 1895. It was later renamed the Regent Theatre of Varieties, later still; The Palace. The Theatre was demolished in 1963.

Right - Poster for the Arthur Lloyd Trio performing Arthur Lloyd's 'Little Charlie' at The Regent Theatre of Varieties post 1904, probably 1907 as there are other Posters in the collection at the Crouch End Hippodrome for the same production in 1907.
