Theatre Royal Inverness

Arthur Lloyd is known to have performed here in 1900

...There was a theatre on the riverside when I was quite small and they had visits from good professional touring companies. I remember my brother telling me about seeing “Phantom Of The Opera” there — but, by the time I had started theatre going, it had burnt down.
This caused quite a stir in Inverness at the time as people thought it was because of a prediction by the Brahan Seer who had said that when a theatre in Inverness was built between two churches, it would be burnt down by fire. The theatre was situated on the riverside between the Free North Church and the St Columba Church.
After the Theatre Royal burnt down, the venue was the Empire Theatre in Academy Street. We weren’t so keen on the variety shows that were mostly performed there and, when a local repertory theatre was set up, we went once a week to “The Little Theatre” in the old Raining School at the top of the Raining Stairs off Castle Street which eventually moved to Farraline Park...

Temperance Hall Lancashire

Arthur Lloyd is known to have performed here in 1873

From the Evening News, December 27, 1873

MR ARTHUR LLOYD'S CONCERT PARTY

will make a return visit to the Temperance Hall, and two hours' genuine fun are sure to be obtained, for he must be a misanthrope indeed who cannot enjoy a laugh at Mr Lloyd's inimitable songs and impersonations.

Morpeth Town Hall

Arthur Lloyd is known to have performed in Morpeth on October 28th 1879

Currently I don't have a venue for this date but it is quite possible that it was the Town Hall (Below) which was used as a Theatre when rebuilt in 1879. The building is still standing in 2002
